Ulala Session
Ulala Session (stylized as ULALA SESSION) ((朝鮮語:울랄라 세션)) is a K-pop boy band that gained popularity after it won the 2011 talent show competition ''Superstar K3''.〔(Korea Times, KF and CJ E&M, "Kpop group Ulala Session offers something different", http://www.abs-cbnnews.com, posted 23 November 2012 ); dates of birth calculated based on their ages as of 23 November 2012.〕 Ulala Session's members are: Lim Yoon-taek (b. ca. 1980 – d. 2013), Goon jo (b. ca. 1980), Kim Myung-hoon (b. ca. 1983), Park Seung-il (b. ca. 1981), and Park Kwang-sun (b. ca. 1990).〔

Prior to their appearance on ''Superstar K3'', the group was not widely known in South Korea, performing "anywhere, even in the middle of a schoolyard if there was a stage."〔
During ''Superstar K3'', audiences responded particularly fondly to lead singer Lim's battle with stomach cancer.〔 This led to some speculation that Ulala Session was making up the story of Lim's cancer as a way to garner sympathy during the competition; Lim responded in July 2012 by bringing his doctor on SBS's ''One Night in TV Entertainment'' to confirm the diagnosis.〔(VITALSIGN, "Ulala Session's Yuntaek tries to clear up rumors refuting his cancer diagnosis", www.allkpop.com, posted 5 July 2012 )〕
